Now an extensive range of Scroll Chucks and accessory jaws have been added to the new WOODFAST range. The chucks are accurately machined and are superbly finished. Thread adaptors are available so the chucks can be used on most standard woodlathes.
The new range will include three chucks. All with built in jaw retaining safety catch. The 75mm (3") chuck is ideally suited for smaller woodlathes due to its less weight and overall compactness.
The 100mm (4") model is a standard size chuck and well suited for general woodturning projects on medium size lathes.
At the top of the range is our 125mm (5") chuck. The increased holding capacity of this chuck makes it perfectly suited for woodturners who tackle the bigger work and are looking for extra grip.
All three chucks are key operated for quick and easy use. No knuckle bruising levers for these chucks.
The top handle of the key slides through the main body to provide extra clearance when clamping large diameter bowls or platters.
A range of accessory jaws are available including special fully adjustable bowl jaws. These jaws allow bowls to be reverse chucked for final detail finishing or base modifications. These jaws also incorporate additional slots to allow for specialized clamping of unusual shapes.

STANDARD JAWS
The Standard Jaw set can be used in the contraction mode for clamping down onto the pre turned foot or base of a Bowl or Platter.
When used in the expansion mode, the jaws can be used for clamping out into a recess or hollowed base.
To hold very small projects, these jaws can be removed so clamping is done directly by the chuck master jaws.
Accessory Jaws
LONG NOSE JAWS
These solid jaws provide powerful gripping for projects that require holding further away from the chuck body.
The extra rear access provides additional freedom for better form design and safety.
Suitable for both internal and external clamping.

PIN JAWS
Pin Jaws are ideally suited for expansion and contraction clamping of small projects. The extra jaw length provides additional support when holding small spindles pieces. This extra length also assists tool space at the rear of projects when held by the expansion mode.

DOVETAIL JAWS
These oversize expansion and contraction jaws are ideal for bigger project work such as bowls and platters as well as shaft holding projects. With clever project design, the expansion jaws can be used to grip internally into a finished bowl so that the original foot can be machined away for a cleaner or altered design.

BOWL JAWS
The Bowl Jaws have eight plastic holding jaws for both internal and external clamping. The jaws can be repositioned by screwing directly into the various hole positions in the master jaw plate. This provides a wide scope of clamping diameters when used in conjunction with the normal chuck operation. Four additional slots have been machined in the master jaw plate to provide independent clamping of unusually shaped projects.
